Due to school, I was... yeah, I was not even able to touch the internet very much during November. I've taken a much lighter semester this time around, so hopefully there'll be a significant bit of activity from my end. Holidays are here. I won't have time to devote to RPing consistently as I'll be celebrating with my BF and my family. Therefore I'm calling a hiatus for Umi until Monday, January 4th.

She's staying. Godmod rights go to the usual suspects. It's safe to assume she'll be attending what Christmas parties friends decide to invite her to. I may still tag around if I get some idle time.

SUP POLY Sarah here, calling a semi-hiatus on Faith [thesecondslayer] and Dawn [tothelibrary] until ~December 27th. I'll be around a bit for the next couple days, but on the way to and from LA-- and while there, sob-- my net access will be hovering around limited to none, and getting prepped for the trip is kind of a pain in the ass.

SO! While I am gone-ish:

Faith will be flipping the everloving fuck out about Sylar, and trying to pretend nothing's wrong. Godmod privs go to the usual suspects; Lorne + Team Angel and Sylar are free to mention her doing whatever, and Angela would notice her new neighbor is acting even crazier than usual.

Dawn is settling into the City, still poking around at whatever she can; no real modding privs here other than to be like OH RIGHT, NOSY TINY WATCHER IS UP IN EVERYONE'S BUSINESS.

so...i was doing this as a hiatus, but the reality of it is that i'm not sure when i'll be able to devote time to this place again. between work and other obligations, and the possibility of moving early next year, i don't think i can keep up here anymore, not as much as i'd like to. it's been a blast, but for now i'm gonna have to bow out.

thank you to everyone that's had CR with momoko here, you've made the game an absolute joy and fhghs i'm really, really sorry for dropped tags and general fail on my part. i love poly a lot and if i get a chance or things start looking more doable, i really want to come back sometime.

The good stuff first:

Caroling: Anna was organizing a caroling party to the childrens' ward of the hospital - with the holiday INSANITY that there is, I was thinking we might just want to hand-wave it and anyone who wants to say they came can say they came, and if anyone want's anything quirky and/or memorable to happen they can post it here so everyone can see. Otherwise, they met up Christmas Eve evening, they sang (more or less on-key) and the kids adored them.

PARTY: Anna's hosting X-Mas at her place, are you guys interested in logging that out? Y/N and if Y, I'll put that log up SOON so that we can tag it over the actual holiday and no one has to be waiting for it.

And the drop. As much as I love my elegant vamp, and still enjoy playing her, it's just really not the same without a crew so Promise is leaving effective today. 

Blue: There are VERY detailed notes on the ledgers, as well as the payroll, for you or whoever you get to replace her (she planned ahead).  Additionally, she asks that you hold her accounts in the event she, Niko or Cal should someday return. And if you could find homes for the cats, Hal and Hotspur, that would be awesome, otherwise.... eh, they're survivors, they'll find a way.

Okay, okay, it's time I go ahead and do this.

I've been struggling with Lockon's voice for a while, and I haven't been feeling like RPing pretty much anything lately, either. So in a last-ditch attempt to save him for the future--that is to say, in the hopes that the muse is just on holiday while I'm disenchanted with roleplay in general--I'm putting him on hiatus through January.

To avoid disrupting the rest of the Gundam 00 cast too much, he won't be leaving the City; godmode rights go to them. If you need to run anything by me that would catch Lockon's attention, feel free to hit me up over AIM at Annwyd Hates You and we'll work out what he'd do about it. And yes, his friends can expect to get thoughtful Christmas presents.

I'm bringing him in from the end of volume one! And he'll be arriving as soon as I fix up his icons by making some due to the lack of icons that are around for him D: Feel free to mistake him for a girl when he does arrive, since he does look like one because of how his hair is and this happens in canon too.

His name is Dhaos and he hails from the game/anime Tales of Phantasia. He's a tree-loving, city destroying, speech making baddie that's just a little misunderstood and a total hypocrite when it comes to his beliefs. So don't be surprised if he criticizes you for one thing and then turns around and does the exact same thing. And those speeches he makes? Yeah, all tl;dr about how mankind is foolish and evil at heart. Did I mention he has lasers?
